ADJUST YOUR AIR RIDE ADAPTIVE SUSPENSION

Available Air Ride Adaptive Suspension incorporates air springs that allow you to raise and lower the height of the vehicle to suit different driving conditions.

Air Ride Adaptive Suspension’s automatic load detection and leveling senses the weight of your vehicle’s cargo and/or passengers and adjusts the ride height accordingly. Aero Mode automatically engages at speeds of 65 mph or higher and lowers your vehicle for improved aerodynamics.

HOW TO ADJUST AIR RIDE ADAPTIVE SUSPENSION

To adjust the air suspension:

1. Locate the Ride Height controls.

a.  There is one button marked with an upward-facing arrow for raising and one marked with a downward-facing arrow for lowering the ride height.

b. Consult your Owner’s Manual if you have trouble locating your Ride Height controls.

2. Press either button to open the Ride Height menu in the Driver Information Center.

3. Use the raise or lower button to select a new ride height from the Ride Height menu.

a. Press the button with the up arrow to select a raised height.

b. Press the button with the down arrow to select a lower height.

4. An icon of a vehicle with an upward- or downward-facing arrow will flash in your Driver Information Center to show if your vehicle is raising or lowering.

RIDE HEIGHTS

Depending on your vehicle, the preset ride heights may include:

  • Entry/Exit Height: Lowers your vehicle to make it easier to get in and out of
  • Normal Height: Default ride height of your vehicle
  • Increased Ground Clearance: Raises above Normal Height
  • Maximum Ground Clearance: If equipped, raises 2 inches higher than Normal Height

Note: This ride height is automatically exited when the vehicle exceeds 30 mph.

HOW TO ENABLE EASY EXIT

Your vehicle can automatically lower when you place it in PARK to make it easier to get in and out. To enable this:

1. Open your vehicle Settings menu on your center display.

2. Select “Vehicle,” then “Ride Height.”

3. Tap the toggle button to enable “Automatic Easy Exit.”

4. You can disable Automatic Easy Exit by tapping the toggle button again.

Note: This feature is disabled when you raise your vehicle above Normal Height, when your vehicle is in Off-Road, Terrain or Tow/Haul modes, or if you have a trailer attached.

USAGE TIPS

  • The vehicle will not raise or lower while the vehicle’s door or the hood is open.
  • If you’re unable to select a height, you’ll receive a Driver Information Center message explaining why.
  • If you exit the vehicle and close the door while it’s lowering, the vehicle will lower slightly, stop, then begin lowering again until it reaches the selected height.
