PERSONALIZED AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROL FOR EACH PASSENGER
ClimateSense Automatic Climate Control is a multi-zone heating, ventilation and cooling system that provides personalized comfort to vehicle occupants.
What Is ClimateSense Automatic Climate Control?
ClimateSense is automatically engaged when the vehicle is turned on. Whether you’re in the first- or second-row outboard seats, you can select your preferred temperature using the climate controls. Then, ClimateSense technology uses data from the outdoor temperature, cabin temperature, climate controls and other inputs to determine how to best adjust for you.
Adjustments can include the targeted area on your body, the type of climate control needed (e.g., heated armrest or heated neck) and the intensity of those comfort features.
The specific areas that the system uses heating, cooling and ventilation in to improve comfort include:
- Neck warmer
- Active seat ventilation and cooling
- Independent seatback and seat cushion heating
- Surface heating
- Steering wheel heating
- Motorized cabin vents
You can still manually adjust your individual comfort features in the Front or Rear Command Center while using ClimateSense Automatic Climate Control. Individual comfort feature adjustments will automatically disable ClimateSense until auto climate control is reselected on the screen. Some ClimateSense Automatic Climate Control features will reactivate each time you turn the vehicle on.
