CONTROL PASSENGER SCREENS IN YOUR VEHICLE WITH QUICK REMOTE

This article may help you troubleshoot potential issues with the Quick Remote feature for the Front and Rear Passenger Entertainment.

Your passenger screen may show a message reading “Quick Remote Available,” which is a feature that lets you use your smartphone as a trackpad to navigate the display remotely.

Troubleshooting Steps

The Quick Remote Disconnected or Isn’t Working Anymore

  • Close the browser tab with the Quick Remote and ensure you are connected to the vehicle’s Wi-Fi® Hotspot. Then, re-scan the QR code on the passenger screen to connect the Quick Remote again.

I Can’t Change Devices with the Quick Remote

  • Only one device can use the Quick Remote at a time. You can connect a new device by scanning the QR code on the Home screen and following the prompts on your smart device. After setting a new connection, the previously connected device will automatically lose access to the Quick Remote until you reconnect it again.

The Quick Remote Cursor Is Moving Too Fast or Too Slow

  • If the Quick Remote cursor is moving too fast or too slow, you can change the cursor sensitivity directly on the Quick Remote by tapping the Gear icon on the trackpad and sliding the sensitivity bar.

An Error Message Is Appearing on My Screen When I Connect the Quick Remote Feature

  • If an error message appears on your passenger display that your connection is not secure when you connect the Quick Remote, you can select “Continue to Site.” Due to vehicle limitations, this message may pop up; however, there are no security issues with the Quick Remote and no personal data is used.

For your security, please don't include personal info such as phone number, address or credit card details.
