HOW TO USE INTERIOR DOOR HANDLES ON NEW CADILLAC VEHICLES

Some Cadillac models have interior door handles that you pull upward from the armrest to open instead of outward from the door panel.

HOW TO USE INTERIOR DOOR HANDLES
  • Locate the flat metal plate on the door panel armrest (approximately where a traditional door handle would be)
  • Pull up on the handle to open the door
  • If an occupant of either front seat pulls up on the interior door handle one time, it will unlock and unlatch their door
  • If the vehicle is locked, occupants of the rear seats will need to pull their door handle up once to unlock the door and again to open it

In the event of power loss in the vehicle, you can pull up on the door handle to its full extent and it will unlatch mechanically.
