After 20 years, Cadillac Racing marked our return to the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 10-11, with our highest finish ever. Our No. 2 V-Series.R led laps for the first time in Cadillac history and finished on the podium in 3rd, with the No. 3 just behind in 4th and the No. 311 fighting back for 10th in class.
Sweet, sweet victory. Cadillac Racing drivers Renger van der Zande and Sébastien Bourdais drove the No. 1 V-Series.R to first place in sunny California—the duo’s first win in 2023 prototype competition at Laguna Seca, and second overall for the V-Series.R. It was a good points day for Pipo Derani and Alexander Sims, who joined the winners on the podium after securing third in the No. 31.
The No. 2 V-Series.R driven by Richard Westbrook, Alex Lynn and Earl Bamber, battled in this World Endurance Championship race for six hours on a 16-turn track in Algarve, Portugal—Cadillac Racing’s first time competing internationally.
The Cadillac Racing victory that kicked our 20th Anniversary season off strong—the first victory for the V-Series.R in IMSA’s new Grand Touring Prototype class.
