LE MONSTRE OF LE MANS AND PETIT PATAUD
The 1950 24 Hours of Le Mans race saw the entry of two Cadillac Series 61 racers. One was nicknamed Le Monstre for its wild, aerodynamic appearance that was unlike any other postwar Cadillac. The other, a production model fitted with a racing engine, was the Petit Pataud.
The No. 3 Petit Pataud was driven to a 10th-place overall finish and the No. 2 Le Monstre finished 11th overall.
