CONTROL VEHICLE FUNCTIONS THROUGH A SEPARATE TOUCH-SCREEN
In vehicles with an available Front Command Center (and Rear Command Center, if equipped), the virtual controls of the Controls app, typically found within the center display, are accessible through the command center screen(s).
CONTROLS SCREEN
Navigate to the Controls screen by tapping the Controls icon in the bottom navigation bar. This pulls up a screen of virtual icons that may include:
- Drive
- Doors* & Windows
- Safety
- Lights
- Rear Steering
- Head-Up Display (HUD)
*Requires later software update.
Tap on the appropriate icon to access the vehicle function you’d like to control. For example, tapping Drive will display drive-focused vehicle features, such as Traction Control, Lane Assistance, Auto Hold, One-Pedal Driving and Speed Limiter. From there, you can turn the feature on or off.
Tapping Safety will display a screen that lets you control the vehicle’s locks, including child safety locks and power window locks, and access the Conversation Enhancement feature.
You can also select Rear Control Lock to keep users from controlling functions from the Rear Command Center screen (if equipped).
QUICK CONTROLS
Tapping the two arrows at the midpoint of the top navigation bar in the Front Command Center screen (and rear screen, if equipped) provides quick access to commonly used functions, including:
- Universal remotes
- Glove box release
- HUD
- Park Assist
- Child safety locks
- Power window lockout
- Rear control lock
Note: Once the vehicle is in DRIVE, both the Front Command Center and Rear Command Center (if equipped) will default to the Climate Controls screen after 30 seconds of screen inactivity.
Note: Some controls for functions can be accessed through more than one screen.
