ACCESS THE THIRD ROW FROM THE FRONT OR SECOND ROW
Move the Executive Second-Row seats to access the third row.
You can access the third row of vehicles with Executive Second-Row Seating by using the Rear Panel Switch or the Front and Rear Command Centers between the front and back two seats.
To adjust the second-row seats with the Rear Panel Switch:
1. Ensure that there are no items on the floor in front of, behind or on the second-row seat.
2. Locate the Rear Panel Switch on the C-pillar panel by the second-row seat you plan to move.
3. Press the down arrow icon on the switch to move the seat forward and tilt the seatback forward.
With the seatback tilted and moved forward, you or your passenger will have room to enter the third row. Once you or your passenger have gotten into the third row, return the second-row seat to its original position:
1. Ensure that there are no items on the floor in front of, behind or on the second-row seat.
2. Press the up arrow icon on the switch to move the seat backward and recline the seatback to a neutral position.
To adjust the second-row seats from the Front or Rear Command Center:
1. Touch the seat icon, then Position on the display.
2. The seat will appear on the screen with multiple areas marked as adjustable.
3. Select the seat cushion area on the seat image.
a. Select forward arrow near the seat cushion to move the seat all the way forward.
4. Select the seatback area on the seat image.
a. Select the forward arrow near the seatback to tilt the seatback all the way forward.
The second-row seats can also be adjusted from the center display screen in the front row, allowing you to remain in the driver seat while moving the second-row seats for third row access.
To return the seat to the previous position:
1. Touch the seat icon, then “Position” on the display.
2. Select the seat cushion area on the seat image.
a. Select the rearward arrow near the seat cushion to move the seat back to the desired position.
3. Select the seatback area on the seat image.
a. Select the rearward arrow near the seatback to tilt the seatback back to the desired position.
In case of an emergency, such as loss of power, an emergency strap is located on the outboard seat hinge or tucked beneath the outboard seatback bolster. Pulling the emergency strap can help fold the second-row seat forward for third-row occupants to exit the vehicle.
You can enable Child Safety Locks in the Front Command Center display to prevent any power adjustment of the second-row executive seats.
